- Every new patient undergoes a thorough evaluation, including a detailed assessment of their medical history and a Fluoroscopy guided exam. We let the patient dictate our pace, if they’re in a hurry, we’ll match their urgency but if they are nervous and have lots of questions, we’ll patiently answer each one until the patient is put at ease.
- Once the diagnosis of OA is confirmed, our billing department takes over to find the most cost effective approach for each patient’s unique situation.
- We always stock many different types of gels, which gives us flexibility on our treatment plan based on insurance coverage.
- Our process is approved by Medicare, and with a supplement, most patients have minimal to no out of pocket costs.
- We’re also in network with PPO and HMO plans, and our dedicated insurance team will handle any prior authorizations or documentation needed to get your patient the maximum coverage.
- If we aren’t in network with your patient's insurance, or their deductible is high, we offer multiple affordable payment plans with 0% interest.
- As long as the patient is comfortable and the financials are all set, we’ll start their series right away.
- We’ll then schedule out the remaining 2-4 treatments to get them their full course as soon as possible.
- Once they finish their series, we’ll schedule a follow up appointment in 6 weeks. This gives us the opportunity to ensure they are doing well, answer any questions they may have, an offer a steroid injection as needed for pain relief.
- Insurance covers Viscosupplementation every 6 months so at their follow up, we’ll get them back on the schedule to resume treatment to ensure they don’t have lapses in their pain relief and that we delay the progression of their OA as long as possible.
- We’ll keep you up to date on everything happening with your patient in real time. We believe that communication is key to overall patient well being and we’ll follow all HIPPA guidelines to ensure you are up to date on everything happening with your patient.
